It was super fun. We've never taken her to anything like this before. We went with Annabelle and her parents, who had generously given us the tickets.

Annabelle turns Athena into a hugger...

"Wanna hug? C'mon. It won't hurt."

"OK, I'll try... but only because you're my BFF."

"See? It's not so bad!"

So they hugged...

And hugged...

And hugged.

Is that enough cuteness for one day?

Athena + Annabelle = HILARIOUS

"Hey Annabelle, lemme see that real quick. I wanna show you something."

"OK, are you sure you know what you're doing?"

"Oh yeah..... I know what I'm doing."

"HEY!!!!!!!!!!"

Don't worry. They were still friends after that. They ganged up on some spiders.

Athena + Annabelle = BFF

"Hey, check it out. It's the neighbors' pinwheel."

"What do you think, Annabelle? Should I touch it?"

"Yeah, you should totally touch it."

Aaaaaaaaaand the pictures stop because Athena ripped it apart to make Annabelle laugh. I put the thing back together (trying to mask the hole that's now in it) and we got the heck out of dodge.

(And I just thought this one was cute. It's Annabelle, her mommy, and her uncle.)
